1. Product Introduction
This dry mix concrete plant (dry batch concrete batching plant) is a complete automatic batching system for dry concrete production. It accurately weighs cement, sand, stone aggregates and additives according to preset formulas, then discharges all dry materials into a concrete mixer truck. Water is added and mixing is finished inside the transit mixer during transportation or on-site. It integrates aggregate bins, weighing system, feeding conveyor, cement silo, screw conveyor, control cabinet and dust removal unit. It features simple layout, low investment and flexible delivery, widely matched for construction projects and dry mortar supporting production lines.
2. Core Highlights
- Precise Gravimetric Batching: Independent weighing scales for aggregate, cement and additives, with high-precision load cells, stable proportioning and consistent concrete quality.
- Low Investment & Compact Layout: No central compulsory mixer required; smaller footprint and lower operation cost compared with wet concrete batching plants.
- Modular Structure: Quick assembly and disassembly; suitable for frequent relocation between construction sites.
- PLC Automatic Control System: Touch screen operation, formula storage, production data recording and fault alarm; manual/auto switching available.
- Enclosed Dust Suppression Design: Dust collecting ports on feeding and discharging points to reduce powder overflow and meet environmental protection standards.
- Flexible Production Capacity: Multiple optional models; easy to expand silos and aggregate bins according to project demand.

4. Operation Notes
- Only trained operators can run the plant; non-staff are forbidden to enter the working area during operation.
- Check the weighing system, belt conveyor, screw conveyor, emergency stop and dust removal equipment before startup.
- Remove sundries, iron blocks and large impurities in aggregates to avoid conveyor jamming or scale damage.
- Strictly follow the preset formula; do not arbitrarily change the ratio without technical confirmation.
- Ensure the mixer truck drum keeps rotating after receiving dry materials; control water addition quantity strictly on site.
- Stop feeding and cut off power before cleaning blockages; never clean or maintain while the machine is running.
- Regularly calibrate weighing scales, check belt tension, fasteners and sealing parts; lubricate transmission components on schedule.
- Cut off the main power and hang warning signs during maintenance, inspection or repair work.
5. Application Scenarios
- Highway, railway, bridge and tunnel construction projects
- Rural building, municipal engineering and temporary construction sites
- Projects with long transport distance of concrete, where ready wet concrete is not convenient
- Supporting batching station for dry mortar production lines
- Medium and small concrete projects with flexible mobility requirements
6. FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between dry mix concrete plant and wet mix concrete plant?
A1: Dry mix plant only batches all dry raw materials. Mixing is completed in the transit mixer truck after adding water. Wet mix plant is equipped with a central mixer, and concrete is mixed inside the plant before loading. Dry mix plant costs less and suits long-distance transportation.
Q2: Can this plant produce dry mortar?
A2: It is mainly designed for concrete batching. It can produce simple cement-sand mortar, but it is not recommended for high-precision formulated dry mortar such as tile adhesive and putty powder. A dedicated dry mortar mixing plant is suggested.
Q3: Why does weighing error become large?
A3: Common reasons: sensor drift, material sticking on weighing hopper, unstable air pressure, vibration interference or damaged sealing. Clean the hopper and re-calibrate the weighing system.
Q4: Can the plant be moved to another construction site?
A4: Yes. It adopts modular design for quick disassembly and installation. Mobile trailer type is also optional.
Q5: Is dust collector required?
A5: It is strongly recommended. Dust collector can effectively control cement and powder dust and protect the weighing and electrical parts.
Q6: What is the warranty period?
A6: 12-month warranty for main components (excluding wearing parts such as belt, sealing strips and sensors). We provide spare parts supply and remote technical support.
