Our sand drying equipment is a high-performance rotary drying system tailored for dry mortar manufacturers. Centered on an energy-efficient triple-pass rotary drum design, the complete package integrates a hot blast stove, feeding conveyor, discharge chute, dust abatement assembly and intelligent temperature control cabinet. As wet sand travels through the rotating drum, it undergoes continuous heat exchange with hot airflow to evaporate surplus moisture. Reliable moisture control ensures precise batching and uniform quality for masonry mortar, plastering mortar, tile adhesive, self-leveling mortar and other cement-based mortar products. The system supports round-the-clock continuous operation and can be seamlessly retrofitted into both new and existing dry mortar production workflows.

- Energy-saving triple-pass structure: The nested three-layer drum extends material retention time and maximizes heat transfer efficiency, cutting fuel consumption by 30%–50% compared with conventional single-cylinder dryers.
- Precision moisture regulation: Combined closed-loop temperature control and adjustable feed rate lock outlet moisture steadily between 0.5% and 2%, eliminating quality fluctuations in finished mortar caused by inconsistent raw sand humidity.
- Heavy-duty wear-resistant construction: Lifting flights and the inner drum are fabricated from high-temperature wear-resistant steel, built for long-term service with highly abrasive silica sand and manufactured sand.
- Full environmental protection package: Equipped with a cyclone separator and pulse baghouse dust collector to minimize particulate emissions and satisfy stringent local environmental compliance standards.
- Flexible multi-fuel heating options: Compatible with natural gas, biomass, coal and diesel. We assist customers in selecting the optimal heat source based on local fuel costs and emission regulations.
- Smart automated operation: Real-time monitoring of inlet and outlet temperatures with automatic adjustment of air volume and feed speed. It simplifies on-site operation and reduces labor requirements.

- All operators must complete specialized training and strictly follow the operation manual. Proper PPE including high-temperature resistant gloves and safety goggles shall be worn during operation.
- Before startup, inspect fasteners, support rollers, sealing rings, transmission assemblies and dust pipelines; clear any foreign debris trapped inside the drum.
- Warm up the dryer gradually. Sharp, rapid heating is prohibited to avoid thermal deformation of the drum. Commence feeding only once the preset operating temperature is reached.
- Do not introduce metal chunks, oversized hard debris or flammable hazardous materials into the feed inlet, as these may trigger blockages, component damage or fire hazards.
- Routinely clean dust collector filter cartridges and inspect sealing joints. Air leakage will degrade thermal efficiency and lead to dust escape.
- In the event of blockage, abnormal vibration, unusual noise or smoke, shut down the heating source first and pause feeding. Never open inspection hatches while the drum remains hot.
- Position the electrical control cabinet away from high-temperature pipelines and maintain dry conditions. Calibrate temperature sensors and safety interlock devices periodically.
- Isolate the main power supply and allow sufficient cooling before carrying out any internal maintenance work.
- Dry mortar manufacturing plants: Drying river sand, manufactured sand and quartz sand for tile adhesive, plastering mortar, masonry mortar and self-leveling mortar.
- Sand processing yards: Dehydration of washed sand, silica sand and construction aggregates.
- Building material factories: Drying mineral aggregates, slag and granular fillers.
- Mineral processing facilities: Dehumidification of granular mineral raw materials.
- Road base production lines: Drying aggregates for cement-stabilized soil mixtures.
Q1: Can this dryer integrate with my existing dry mortar production line?
A: Absolutely. We customize throughput, feeding height, discharge orientation and overall layout to match your bucket elevators, storage silos and batching system for smooth integration.
Q2: Which heating source would you recommend?
A: Natural gas delivers clean, convenient performance, while biomass offers superior cost advantages in regions with abundant biomass resources. We propose the most suitable solution considering your local fuel pricing and environmental policies.
Q3: How stable is the final moisture of dried sand?
A: With closed-loop temperature control and adjustable feeding speed, our equipment maintains stable outlet moisture within your target range after professional commissioning.
Q4: What are the lead time and installation periods?
A: Standard models are ready for shipment within 20–35 working days. Installation and commissioning generally take 7–18 days, depending on site conditions and supporting configurations.
Q5: What does the warranty cover?
A: The main drum assembly carries a 12-month warranty. Wearing parts including lifting flights and sealing strips are excluded. We provide long-term spare parts supply and remote technical support.
