Product Description
1. Product Introduction

The bucket elevator is a professional vertical continuous lifting conveyor designed and optimized for dry mortar, ready-mixed mortar and building material production lines. It adopts mature belt/chain circulating bucket lifting structure, specially developed for vertical conveying of powdery, granular and small lump mortar raw materials such as quartz sand, cement, fly ash, limestone powder and mortar additives. Featuring compact vertical layout, stable cyclic operation, high conveying efficiency and excellent sealing performance, the equipment solves the problems of low efficiency, serious material leakage and high labor cost in traditional manual and horizontal conveying methods. It can stably lift raw materials from ground feeding hopper to silo storage, automatic batching system and mixing host, serving as the standard matching conveying equipment for medium and large-scale automated mortar production lines.

2. Core Highlights
2.1 Stable Conveying with Low Material Breakage

Adopting centrifugal and gravity composite discharging mode matched with mortar-specific deep buckets, the equipment realizes smooth material scooping, vertical lifting and uniform discharging. It effectively protects the aggregate particle gradation of mortar raw materials, with material breakage rate controlled below 1%, ensuring stable compressive strength and construction performance of finished mortar.

2.2 Fully Enclosed Dust-free Operation

The whole machine adopts welded sealed shell and sealed inlet and outlet structure, which effectively prevents fine mortar powder from overflowing and dust flying during conveying. It meets environmental protection dust control standards for building material workshops, reduces raw material waste, and improves the working environment of mortar production lines.

2.3 High Efficiency & Stepless Speed Regulation

Equipped with standard variable frequency speed regulation system, the lifting speed and feeding capacity can be adjusted steplessly according to the actual output of the mortar production line. The optimized transmission structure avoids slipping, jitter and material backflow, supporting long-term 24-hour uninterrupted cyclic operation and greatly improving the overall production efficiency of mortar batching and mixing.

2.4 Compact Structure & Strong Adaptability

Vertical integrated structure occupies extremely small floor space, which is suitable for compact modular layout of modern mortar workshops. The lifting height and conveying capacity can be customized flexibly, and it can be perfectly connected with silos, automatic batching machines, mortar mixers and packaging equipment to realize fully automated assembly line conveying.

2.5 Safe Operation & Low Maintenance Cost

Standard equipped with overload protection, anti-reversal device and emergency stop function to effectively prevent equipment blockage and motor burnout caused by overfeeding. Designed with external observation window and detachable inspection cover, daily cleaning, wear inspection and parts replacement can be completed quickly, with low later operation and maintenance cost and high equipment operation rate.

4. Usage Notes
4.1 Pre-operation Inspection

Check the integrity of the equipment shell, lifting buckets and transmission belt/chain before startup. Confirm the tightness of all connecting parts and sealing components to avoid dust leakage and material spilling. Test the sensitivity of overload protection, anti-reversal and emergency stop functions. It is strictly forbidden to start the machine with load to prevent motor overload, bucket deformation and internal blockage.

4.2 Standard Operation Rules

Perform 3–5 minutes of no-load trial operation first to confirm stable running without abnormal noise or vibration before feeding mortar materials. Keep uniform and continuous feeding; avoid sudden large-dose feeding to prevent material accumulation and blockage inside the machine. Monitor the operation status in real time during production. Stop the machine immediately for inspection once abnormal vibration, noise or material backflow occurs. Do not open the inspection cover or touch running parts during operation.

4.3 Daily Maintenance & Upkeep

Clean residual mortar powder and aggregate inside the equipment thoroughly after daily shutdown to prevent material caking from affecting subsequent operation and causing component abrasion. Regularly check the tension of belt/chain and the wear degree of buckets, and replace worn parts in time. Lubricate transmission bearings and rotating parts periodically to ensure flexible operation. For long-term shutdown, clean the interior thoroughly and keep the equipment dry and sealed.

4.4 Installation & Safety Requirements

Install the equipment on a horizontal and solid concrete foundation and fix it with anchor bolts to eliminate operational shaking. Keep the workshop dry and ventilated to reduce dust deposition and component corrosion. Professional operators are required for equipment operation; irrelevant personnel are prohibited from approaching the working area. Cut off the total power supply completely before all maintenance and repair work to ensure construction safety.

5. Application Scenarios
5.1 Automatic Dry Mortar Production Lines

Suitable for vertical lifting and continuous conveying of dry sand, cement, fly ash, talc powder and various admixtures in standard dry mortar production lines, supporting automatic feeding from ground hopper to silo storage and intelligent batching system.

5.2 Commercial Ready-mixed Mortar Plants

Matched with large mortar mixers, automatic packaging machines and silo systems to realize automated circulating feeding, which is widely used in batch production of commercial ready-mixed mortar for construction projects.

5.3 Special Mortar Production

Applicable to production of anti-crack mortar, waterproof mortar, thermal insulation mortar, bonding mortar and wall putty powder. It ensures stable raw material gradation and no material pollution during conveying.

5.4 Building Material Bulk Material Conveying

Widely used in vertical lifting of various powdery and granular building materials such as sand, stone powder and cement in building material factories, supporting raw material batching, storage and processing of various building materials.

6. Common FAQ
Q1: What types of mortar materials is the bucket elevator suitable for?

A1: It is applicable to all conventional dry mortar raw materials, including powdery cement, fly ash, talc powder, and granular quartz sand and aggregate. It is suitable for dry and slightly wet bulk materials, but not for materials with excessive moisture and serious agglomeration.

Q2: How to solve material blockage during operation?

A2: Immediately stop feeding and cut off the power supply. After the equipment completely stops running, open the inspection cover to clean blocked materials manually. Check buckets, belt and transmission parts for damage, and restart the equipment only after all faults are eliminated. Never operate the machine with blockage.

Q3: Can lifting height and conveying capacity be customized?

A3: Yes. The lifting height, conveying capacity and running speed can be customized according to the user’s mortar production line output, workshop layout and process requirements to achieve the best matching operation effect.

Q4: How to control low material breakage during mortar conveying?

A4: Adopt special deep anti-breakage buckets, match reasonable variable-frequency running speed, maintain uniform feeding, and regularly calibrate bucket installation angle and belt tension. Standard operation can stably control the breakage rate below 1%.

Q5: What is the service life of the standard bucket elevator?

A5: Under standardized operation and regular maintenance, the main body service life can reach 6–8 years. Wearing parts such as buckets and belts can be replaced separately with low comprehensive operation cost.

Q6: Does the equipment cause dust pollution during mortar conveying?

A6: No. The fully enclosed welded structure and sealed inlet and outlet design effectively prevent powder overflow, realizing dust-free and environmentally friendly conveying, which meets the environmental protection production requirements of modern mortar factories.
